PTFE Wire has a temperature rating of -65° up to 200ºC when silver plated copper conductors are used and -65° to 260ºC when nickel plated copper conductors are used.
PTFE Insulated Wire has excellent thermal, physical, and electrical properties especially suitable for internal wiring applications where insulation melt-back is an issue during the soldering operation. PTFE Teflon Wire are resistant to oil, oxidation, heat, sunlight and flame, and are also resistant to ozone, water, alcohol, gasoline, acids, alkalis, aromatic hydrocarbons and solvents.

We offer PTFE Insulation on following conductor materials. However, customized single or multi-strand conductors may also be used according to application and requirement of customers.
We make PTFE Insulated wires and cables with Solid conductor (sizes AWG 32 to AWG 18) and stranded perfectly round conductor constructions like 7, 19, 37 and 133 strands. Available sizes in multi-strand construction are from AWG 26 to AWG 00. Please refer to Datasheet for choosing your required wire or tell us your requirement.
There are three types of standard insulations known as “ET” (250V AC), “E” (600V AC) and “EE” (1000V AC).
Type “ET” or 250V Insulation is a good choice for low voltage application. Mainly used for electronics, signals and data transmission. This insulation Type is advisable for small cross sectional area conductors only with Minimum Insulation thickness 0.15mm + 0.05mm. Thin insulation makes this Type very sophisticated for use. Available size for this insulation category: AWG 32 to AWG 20.
Type “E” or 600V is the most common insulation type for various electronics and electrical applications with Minimum insulation thickness 0.25mm + 0.05mm providing good Dielectric properties. Available size for this insulation category: AWG 32 to AWG 10.
Type “EE” or 1000V offers good electrical and good mechanical protection with a minimum insulation thickness of 0.35 mm + 0.05mm. More insulation thickness is advisable for conductors having higher cross sectional area. This insulation type provide better dielectric properties to wires and cables. In this category, all sizes can be included.
PTFE Wires and Cables are made using the best quality material to ensure higher flexibility and long durability. The PTFE Insulated Wires and Cables can endure a large range of temperature starting from (-) 60º C to (+)260 ºC. These are not inflammable and totally safe to be used. These are made weatherproof using a special technology. Moreover, these save a lot space and very much comfortable to use. Consequently, we have enlisted ourselves among the well-known PTFE Insulated Cables Manufacturer based in India.
Non-Flamability
The Insulation is fire (Flame) proof i.e. non-flamable.
Flexibility
PTFE wires are manufactured with best available stranded copper wires, giving better flexibility for comfortable use in the wiring.
Working Temp.
It's working Temperature range is (-) 60° C to (+) 260° C.
RoHS Compliance
PTFE Insulated wires and cables are RoHS compliance and Halogen free
PTFE Wires Weather Resistance
The insulation have not shown any notable changes in it's electrical, mechanical or chemical properties even after out door exposure for over 20 years. It is also unaffected by exposure to ultraviolet rays.
PTFE Wires Chemical Resistance
Insulation is inert to virtually all known Acids, chemicals and solids
PTFE Wires Electrical Stability
Insulation electrical properties do not change even after long-term heat aging. Insulation has low dielectric constant and dissipation factor, it's high dielectric strength and insulation resistance shows minimum changes over wide temperature, frequency and voltage fluctuations.
Space Saving
P.T.F.E. wires is of less O.D. for the same current carrying capacity of PVC Insulated wires, thus saves space to facilitate more no. of insulated wires in the same conduit. It's smooth surface also facilitates easy conduit pull.
PTFE Insulated Wire are widely used for applications such as;
